Financed by France's art-for-public housing scheme, this mosaic of The Sun Meeting the Moon covers 143 square meters. Executed by architect Guy Duval and the housing department's technical team, it is composed of 200,000 small Briare enamel tiles in 10 evocative hues: peat, emerald, sodalite, atoll, sulfur, nugget, minium, cobalt, lazuli, and ruby.
